DMV Offices Affected by COVID-19

Please see the summary below for information on how our Driver License Offices (DLOs) are being affected by COVID-19. Due to the frequently changing nature of these events, the DMV will post all updates here rather than issuing media releases.


July 27, 2020 - Both Trinidad staff members received notice that they tested negative for COVID-19. Trinidad reopened at 2 p.m. on July 27.

July 23, 2020 - The Glenwood Springs DLO has reopened.

July 21, 2020 - The Glenwood Springs DLO will remain closed at least through July 22.

July 20, 2020 - The Glenwood Springs DLO closes for a deep cleaning after being notified that a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. That staff member was last in the office on July 15. The office is not expected to reopen before July 22, after it receives a thorough cleaning.

July 20, 2020 - The Trinidad DLO closes after the two employees who work in that office report being ill. It is not known if this is related to COVID-19, but they will be tested. See the media release here.

July 16, 2020 - The Parker DLO closed on July 16 and 17 after one employee tests positive and two others report being ill. See media release here. All staff members in the office were sent for testing. As of July 20, six staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. The office reopened on July 20, 2020 with staff from different offices.
