BY DESIGN: The story of credentials in Colorado

As you read this, there’s a good chance that you have a driver license or ID card somewhere in a purse, pocket, or wallet issued by the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles. Think about how often this is used in your daily life. It allows you to travel on airplanes, see concerts and sporting events, and grants you entry into bars and other establishments. In essence, these cards are an extension of who we are.

Wintry weather tips

Winter weather can continue sporadically throughout the coming weeks. Early spring snowstorms can dump several feet of snow. Hello!

My name is City-Boy, FKA Jackson. I'm an American Bobtail cat with a dash of Bengal. I was a kitten when my former owner realized they were expecting a baby and couldn't keep me. 

I lived in the country then, Ft. Lupton to be exact. So when my new owners Lola and Mike adopted me into their family, they gave me a new name, Country-Kitty! As we grew to know each other and I got settled in the big city, my new and final name was founded, City-Boy!

What is your position and how long have you been with the DMV?

I started back in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant III in the Driver Control call center, then I moved over to DL Admin. I was gone for three years when I worked for the Auto Industry division (still part of DOR), and I've been back a little over a year now as an Executive Assistant with Vehicle Services.
