September 5, 2019 --LAKEWOOD, Colo.--The Division of Motor Vehicles office at 1881 Pierce Street, Lakewood will be closed for the rest of today, Thursday September 5 due to police activity.
We are working with our law enforcement partners to resolve this issue. Updates will be posted to our website and social media (Facebook: @ColoradoRevenue, Twitter: @CO_Revenue) as soon as they become available.
The cause of the evacuation is under investigation and there are currently no further details available.
Customers are encouraged to use our online services at mydmv.colorado.gov, which offers 35 online services that includes renewing your driver license, renewing your motor vehicle registration, getting a driving record and more.
