Durango Driver License Office renovations mean faster service for more Coloradans

DURANGO, Thursday, May 16, 2019 -- Renovations underway at the Durango Driver License Office aren't just a facelift, but are an improvement that will reduce wait times for Coloradans using the office's services.
The refresh, which should be finished by mid-June, includes more service counters, new carpet and fresh paint. While the renovations are being completed, the Durango DLO will offer all of its current services.

Once completed, the Durango DLO will have six service counters, which is two more than its current total. The renovations will increase the number of Coloradans the office can serve daily and will reduce wait times by making more counters available for driver license services. Additionally, the DMV is in the process of hiring staff to work the additional service counters.
