Littleton Driver License Office Moving to New Location Just Short Trek Away in Centennial

LAKEWOOD, Monday, SEPTEMBER 21, 2020 -- To improve customer service and provide a better workspace for Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles staff, the State Driver License Office in Littleton is moving about 5 miles to 5120 E. Arapahoe Road in Centennial, with service at the new location starting Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The current Littleton office at 311 E. County Line Road, will close at noon Thursday, Oct. 1, five hours earlier than normal in order to move the equipment and staff and won’t be open Friday, Oct. 2.

The new location is almost twice the size of the previous facility and will increase space for service counters and customers, which will allow for greater social distancing currently and will help reduce wait times once COVID-19 subsides.

These are exciting, and much needed, improvements, both for Coloradans and our frontline DMV teammates who provide essential licensing services at the office.

The new Centennial office, like all other Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driver license offices, is open on an appointment-only basis. To schedule an appointment at the new location in Centennial, visit myDMV.Colorado.gov.

Coloradans who are visiting a driver license office for the first time in a while should be aware of the current health precautions, which include requiring all to wear masks and be screened for COVID-19 prior to entry. Customers and staff who fail the screening or refuse to wear a mask will not be allowed entry into the office. Customers with medical conditions who are unable to wear a mask, should call the appointment line at 720-295-2965 for  accommodations.

Next time you need to visit the DMV, you might be able to #SkipTheTripCO with myDMV.Colorado.gov, which offers more than 30 online services, including driver license, identification card and motor vehicle registration renewals.
