Sterling driver license office broken into; office closed until further notice

DENVER, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 -- The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles driver license office at 714 W. Main St. in Sterling is closed and it is currently unknown when it will open for business.
 
The Sterling office was broken into overnight Monday and the crime is being investigated by the Sterling Police Department.
 
The Sterling office will reopen as soon as possible. Driver license services are available via mydmv.colorado.gov. The nearest state driver license office for in-person services is Fort Morgan - 231 Prospect St., Fort Morgan.
