Translator Request for Individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will arrange for a qualified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter when requested by a deaf or hard of hearing person, at no cost to the customer. The DMV encourages a 72 hour advance notice, but a minimum of 48 hours advance notice is needed for any appointment. No written tests can be scheduled after 4 p.m. Once scheduled, the driver license office will be contacted with appointment details. For questions, email DOR_DLCommunications@state.co.us.

Please enter your information to request an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter for your driver license office visit. Please note that information entered into this form will be shared with a third party ASL translation service.
