Meet Colorado Springs Driver License Technician Jessica’s furry passengers, Helen and Luella!
Hi!
My name is Helen and this is my big sister, Luella (on the right). I’m a one-year-old pitbull-lab mix who was rescued from the Pueblo Humane Society this past August. I have five dog siblings and three cat siblings. Luella and I are the oldest and youngest of the pack.
I love running as my daddy’s PT partner at Fort Carson, where I outrun most soldiers on and off post in the beautiful mountain ranges of Colorado Springs. Sometimes I get to run with other soldiers’ dogs, but none are as fast as me! During my downtime, I like to chase squirrels and chew on my Kong like a pacifier. My humans are trying to teach me tricks, but the only command I know so far is “sit pretty” – not “sit” because I’m a lady. Aside from that, I like to take naps with my best nap buddy, Luella.
