DENVER, MONDAY, August 25, 2025 - The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is currently experiencing technical issues with its email system. This may affect some customers who are waiting for important emails, such as confirmations, receipts, and authentication codes.
While most emails are being delivered without a problem, the division has identified that a small percentage of emails are either significantly delayed or not being received.
If customers do not receive an authentication request email within 30 minutes, they are encouraged to try again.
The DMV is working to resolve the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.
