DMV releasing over 90 Historic Colorado Contest Honorable Mention entries on Facebook, Twitter ahead of public vote

Contest will have Coloradans decide state's 150th anniversary license plate

LAKEWOOD, Monday, Jan. 23, 2023 -- Coloradans have a chance to help make history by voting in the Historic Colorado Contest, which opens Feb. 1. 

Until then, the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles will share more than 90 contest submissions from the Under 13 division that were named honorable mentions.

DMV offering CO-RCSA services at 7 more driver license offices, DMV2GO

LAKEWOOD, Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 — Undocumented Coloradans now have more options when needing to DMV at driver license offices throughout the state. 

The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is pleased to announce seven more driver license offices and DMV2GO will provide license and ID card services for Coloradans who qualify under the Colorado Road and Community Safety Act (CO-RCSA) of 2013.

LAKEWOOD, Monday Dec. 19, 2022 — Normally the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles helps save lives through registering organ and tissue donors at driver license offices throughout the state, but this holiday season, the DMV wants to help save lives another way — by spreading the message about the dangers of drunk and drugged driving.

Vehicle registration renewal reminders to resume Jan. 3

LAKEWOOD, Thursday, Dec. 15 – Due to programming updates that include the implementation of Keep Colorado Wild Pass, motor vehicle registration renewal reminders for Coloradans’ whose vehicle registration expires in January will not be mailed in December. 

These registration renewal reminders will start being sent on Jan. 3.

In addition, February vehicle registration renewals reminder cards will be mailed on Jan. 6, 2023.

Final Countdown: Historic Colorado license plate design contest closes Nov. 30

Coloradans’ chance to make history, win $1,000 ends in about 24 hours

LAKEWOOD, Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022 -- It’s the final countdown to enter the Historic Colorado license plate design contest.

With only about 24 hours left, interested Colorado residents or students need to submit their entries before Nov. 30 to qualify for the Historic Colorado Contest.

Colorado residents or students interested in participating in the Historic Colorado Contest need to submit their entries before Nov. 30 to qualify. 

DMV2GO RV to offer services before AFA, UNM football game

LAKEWOOD, Thursday Nov. 10, 2022 -- Football fans who need to visit a Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles office are in luck. 

Before the Air Force Academy Falcons take on the University of New Mexico Lobos, the DMV2GO RV will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in Falcon Stadium’s parking lot at the Air Force Academy.

Appointments are not needed to receive service for this DMV2GO event.
