Colorado DMV Announces Relocation of Certain Services from Pierce Street Headquarters
DENVER - Monday, May 19, 2025 — Starting Monday, May 19, 2025, the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is moving some services from its main office at 1881 Pierce Street in Lakewood to new, updated locations. These changes are designed to make the DMV experience smoother and more efficient.

DENVER— Wednesday, May 7, 2025— As the federal REAL ID deadline takes effect, Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) are proud to announce that the state is more than ready, with 96% of all driver licenses and identification cards (IDs) issued in Colorado being REAL ID-compliant — one of the highest rates in the country.
