Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles visits the State Capitol providing services, education

DENVER - Tuesday, April 8, 2025 —  The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) hit the road—and the halls of the State Capitol—today to bring its services directly to the community. With DMV2GO stationed at Lincoln Veterans Memorial Park and DMV staff inside the Capitol, Coloradans had the opportunity to connect with DMV representatives, learn about key initiatives, and explore ways the agency is working to enhance accessibility and customer experience.

Now Coloradans can add their Driver License and State ID to Samsung Wallet

Coloradans can present their Colorado ID in Samsung Wallet easily, securely at select TSA checkpoints

LAKEWOOD, COLORADO - Thursday, November 21, 2024 - The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) announced today that Coloradans can add their Driver License or ID to Samsung Wallet. This feature provides a fast, safe, and convenient digital version of the state-issued driver license or ID card.

LAKEWOOD, Friday, November 15, 2024 -- The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is currently reaching out to Coloradans who have an appointment at a State Driver License Office today to reschedule their appointment or offer alternative services due to a technical issue impacting all state driver license offices.

Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles outage resolved

LAKEWOOD, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 -- The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has resumed full operations after a brief technical issue caused a statewide outage.

All DMV services, including online services, driver license and ID card services at state and county offices, MV Express Kiosk services, county motor vehicle office services, and DMV call centers are now fully operational.

The cause of the outage is still under investigation. The DMV thanks Coloradans for their patience and understanding during the disruption.
